To ensure the safety and security of our clients and their property, we require all security agent candidates to meet the following qualifications:

Licensing Requirements: Active Texas Level IV Guard Card in good standing with no PSB/RSD disciplinary history.

Experience Requirements: Military, law enforcement, or federal/state government security experience required. Minimum two (2) years of private sector security experience required.

Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a comprehensive background review, including nationwide exhaustive criminal history check, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle checks. Criminal history, including arrests, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may disqualify prospective agent from sensitive security assignments.

Financial & Legal Standing: Active liens, judgments, bankruptcies, unresolved financial obligations, unpaid fines, or ongoing court matters may disqualify prospective agents from sensitive security assignments. Financial and legal history will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine suitability.

Professional Standards: Must maintain top physical condition and a professional appearance at all times.

Drug-Free Workplace: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a drug-free status.

Physical Requirements: Phillips Protective Agents are called upon to perform very strenuous activity in extreme conditions for extended hours with minimal breaks. Accordingly, good aerobic and anaerobic physical conditioning is required and will be verified.
