Security Officer Qualifications:

To ensure the safety and security of our clients and their property, we require all security officer candidates to meet the following qualifications:

• State Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State of Texas, and a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to work in the United States legally.
• Pre-Employment Screening: Pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle checks.
• Drug-Free Workplace: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a drug-free status.

Physical Requirements:

Our security officers perform a variety of duties that require them to be physically fit. These duties may include:

• Working in various environments, both indoors and outdoors, with temperatures ranging from moderate to extreme cold and heat.
• Engaging in significant activity such as walking, standing, speaking, listening, and observing.
• Performing physical efforts such as standing, walking, and sitting with minimal to no stooping or kneeling required.

Security Officer Equipment:

While we provide uniforms and other essential equipment, security officers are required to have the following:

• Duty Belt: Must possess a reliable and approved duty belt to hold necessary security equipment.
• Weapon (Commissioned Officers Only): Commissioned security officers must have their own reliable weapon (excluding Hi-Points) that meets company standards.
• Transportation: Must have a dependable vehicle (car) for work purposes.
• Smartphone: Must possess a working smartphone compatible with our company’s security system.
